Collision monitoring

Collision monitoring means that we observe whether a third person applies for a trademark similar to one of your trademarks or which can be mistaken for one of your trademarks and therefore infringes your trademark rights.

A person who illegally infringes your trademark rights can, if necessary, be forced to stop the illegal use of the trademark by a temporary injunction, may be forced to pay compensation and to take license from you, if you are interested in granting a license.

The illegal trademark application can be contested by means of opposition as well as by means of a cancellation procedure.

The collision monitoring helps you to find foreign trademarks aimed at taking advantage of your trademarks' success of and therefore have a similar design as your trademark.

Every applied for and registered trademark should be protected by collision monitoring.
